AATCC TEST METHOD 8-1988

◆ Functions: This machine is made according to the testing method by the American Association of Textile

 Chemists and Colorists. It may test the fading deree of textiles or leathers. 

The method is to clip the test piece on the fixed stand of the grinding table. 

Then clip a 5㎝×5㎝ white cotton on the rubbing hammer above the test piece. 

The diameter  of the rubbing hammer is 16㎜; the central load is 900g; 

the abrasion distance is 10㎝. Rub the test piece with the speed of to-and-fro once for per second .

 Make the to-the-fro scraping for ten times in total. Remove the white cotton cloth and compare the fading

 degree with the gray standard mark.
